"Fast approaching her 30th birthday and finding herself not married, not dating, and without even a prospect or a house full of cats, Renee Greene, the heroine of Click: An Online Love Story, reluctantly joins her best guy pal on a journey to find love online in Los Angeles.

The story unfolds through a series of emails between Renee and her best friends (anal-compulsive Mark, the overly-judgmental Ashley and the over-sexed Shelley) as well as the gentlemen suitors she meets online.

From the guy who starts every story with "My buddies and I were out drinking one night," to the egotistical "B" celebrity looking for someone to stroke his ego, Renee endures her share of hilarious and heinous cyber dates. Fraught with BCC's, FWD's and inadvertent Reply to All's, readers will root for Renee to "click" with the right man."  ~ From Goodreads

Boy did I feel like I was reading an acquaintance's e-mail without their knowledge - very naughty this close to Christmas. But it did tickle that funny bone about voyeurism that we all have and that desire to uncover secrets! Click: An Online Love Story was loads of fun with Shelley's "advice" about men, and Renee's oh so colorful dates and replies she received through her dating site. If you've ever thought of using an online dating service or indeed have given it try, then you need to give this unique e-mails only novel a go!

Of course I loved Renee, she has spunk and heart and it was fun reading her e-mails. Even more fun was Shelley her shockingly liberal man-hunter and how she balanced out Renee. Of course we get a load of small secondaries like a b- celebrity  obviously gay guy and the nut job that make this so much fun to read. This said... I did miss living through the characters - you just can't do that with e-mail, but it is great fun in the Bridget Jones' Diary way!

The romance is told to you so you miss some of the excitement of getting to experience the feeling yourself through Renee or her love interest. Despite that I found it interesting to view this through e-mail and retellings of the night after. Of course it doesn't get that hot written like it is, so I'd rate this a sweet romance.

The Kindle version is now only 99 cents, it's a Christmas special!
